Keynote at Central Saint Martins, London, UK

De Wilde is an invited keynote speaker at the MA Material Futures symposium, which is also a two year masters based at Central Saint Martins in London.  The course ethos is to create research driven design solutions for a sustainable future, with student’s work sitting at the intersection of craft, science and technology.  This academic year we are planning on running a project exploring nanotechnology, and its potential impact on future products and services.
To kick off the project a symposium is organised with innovative researchers from the field to help expose our students to the breadth of what is happening; from both a scienctific perspective, as well as designers and critical thinkers working in the area.  The day long symposium will be held on Wednesday the 17th of February 2016 .
De Wilde’s innovative work in the field as a creative practitioner would provide valuable insights for the launch of the project according to the organisers of the symposium.
